Football fans around the UK will be praying that their side makes a sensational late move before the January transfer window closes on Friday.
And everyone is hoping for similar big moves this Friday.
Here, we look at 10 transfers we would realistically love to see happening before the window slams shut.

Julian Draxler – Schalke to Arsenal
Ask Arsenal fans about Schalke attacker Julian Draxler and they could tell you what weight he was on his birth.
The rumour that he’s at the top of Arsene Wenger’s radar is older than a pair of Bruce Forsyth’s socks but it just won’t go away and the Gunners could add him to their squad before the window is out.
The hefty price tag which has been banded about may make this one difficult to see happening, mind you.
Possible fee: £37million
Adnan Januzaj – Manchester United to PSG
At first we thought this was one of the most ridiculous rumours January had to offer.
But then we remembered it’s PSG and their endless pit of cash we’re talking about and things all of a sudden got a bit more real.
Possible fee: £30million
Antoine Griezmann – Real Sociedad to PSG
According to Sky Sports’ La Liga pundit Guillem Balague the money is ready and PSG are just biding their time before making a bid for the highly-rated Real Sociedad forward.
He was impressive in the club’s Champions League campaign this term and looks like the only player of real quality at Anoeta.
As PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi put the finishing touches on a £19m move for Yohann Cabaye today, he commented on the need for the club to sign more French players if they are to dominate Ligue 1.
Possible fee: £12million
Toni Kroos – Bayern Munich to Manchester United
This is another move which many will struggle to believe but you have to consider the draw of one of the world’s biggest clubs and the fact Toni Kroos doesn’t seem too happy in Munich right now.
The German midfielder today refused to rule out a transfer away from the European champions and that follows Pep Guardiola admitting that he could “here today and gone tomorrow”.
Could United tempt Pep with a lucrative but late bid for the midfielder?
Possible fee: £40million
Adel Taarabt – QPR to AC Milan
One of the more ridiculous transfer rumours regards Adel Taarabt and AC Milan.
The QPR midfielder – who is currently on loan at Fulham – is apparently a target for new Milan boss Clarence Seedorf and his side’s lack of genuine creativity in the final third could make this a goer.
Whether or not they make a move before the window closes remains to be seen.
We’re not so sure anything will come of it.
Possible fee: Loan
Robert Snodgrass – Norwich to Celtic
Celtic‘s interest in Robert Snodgrass is solid – that’s to be expected.
But for Snodgrass to be interested in a move back north? No-one believed that.
It seems the Norwich wideman is genuinely keen on a transfer to the Scottish Premiership champions.
He’ll cost upwards of £5m and you can bet Chris Hughton will play hard ball on one of his main men.
But the draw of Scotland’s top club is big for a Scot and Snodgrass may just end up at Parkhead come Friday.
Possible fee: £5.5million
Kostantinos Mitroglou – Olympiakos to Fulham
If you don’t know too much about Konstantinos Mitroglou then have a look at the video above.
The Olympiakos striker has 17 goals in all competitions this season – three of which came in the Champions League as his side advanced to the last-16.
The Greek side will be hoping to hold on to him with a two-legged tie against Manchester United to come.
But when cold hard cash is offered up – and Fulham are expected to do just that – they might find it hard to knock back.
Possible fee: £14million
Helder Postiga – Valencia to Lazio
Apparently Lazio had eyed up West Bromwich Albion striker Nicolas Anelka until he revealed he wants to continue at the Hawthorns despite how his controversial quenelle gesture has been dealt with.
They’ve now moved their attentions on to Valencia forward Helder Postiga and it looks like a done deal.
The Portugal man has been rotated a lot at the Mestalla this season and may find things better outwith Spain.
Possible fee: £4million
Javier Hernandez – Manchester United to Tottenham Hotspur
Chicharito is not happy at Old Trafford.
Who would when they play second fiddle despite hitting the net consistently when given games?
Since his breakout debut season in 2010-11, Hernandez’s first-team opportunities have decreased and he last week spoke of his need to move away from Old Trafford.
Now, with only Roberto Soldado and Emannuel Adebayor in his striking arsenal, could Tim Sherwood make a move for the Mexican at Spurs?
Possible fee: £15million
Tom Ince – Blackpool to anyone?!
But that interest now seems concrete after Tom’s dad Paul was sacked as Seasiders boss last week.
Michael Laudrup is rumoured to be waiting for a reply from the highly-rated attacker while Cardiff and Crystal Palace are also expected to make a late play for him.
Possible fee: £7million
