Angry Ref Decks Young Ice Hockey Player After He Gets In His Face

Gone are the days of former West Ham star Paolo Di Canio pushing officials to the floor.

Gone are the days of Earl Hebner being knocked out-cold by hulking WWE superstars.

The refs are fighting back!

Earlier today Talking Baws brought you the story of how English referee, Lee Mason, took two players out the game with one go after tripping both Manchester Untied’s Danny Welbeck and Sunderland’s Phil Bardsley during their League Cup semi-final clash at Old Trafford.

This time, it’s ice hockey.

Check out this video from the game between California Titans and Orange County, where one youngster gets a little too big for his skates. So much so that the ref pushes him to the floor before skating off.

Athletes will be thinking twice from now on before they step out of line with the man in the middle.
