Coca-Cola Santiago Bernabeu Anyone? Fizzy Juice Giants Launch €80m Bid For Real Madrid Stadium Naming Rights

Could you imagine Real Madrid playing at the Coca-Cola Santiago Bernabeu Stadium?

Well, that might be a real thing after Spanish papers El Mundo Deportivo and Sport reported that the Spanish giants are in talks with soft drink brand Coca-Cola over the naming rights for the iconic venue.

We told you that Microsoft were prepared to launch a €50m bid for the naming rights at the end of last year but Coca-Cola look to have gazumped them with a €80m-a-year deal.

It would be a significant deal for Florentino Perez and Madrid as they look to refurbish the Bernabeu within the next two years.
