Yes, with Crawley fans bombarding the club’s official Twitter demanding signings, the media team decided to have some fun of their own as they posted this picture of three Crawley shirts emblazoned with the names Messi, Bale and Ronaldo.
The witty Tweeters captioned the picture: “Paperwork’s done. Helipad ready. Just need three squiggles. Can anyone help with phone numbers? #DeadlineDay”
