As a football fan, it’s never easy to take when your team loses.
Some cry such as the young West Ham fan at Nottingham Forest, while some simply move on with their “that’s football” attitude.
And others? Well they call the police.

At around 10:30 last night, Greater Manchester Police received a phone call. It wasn’t for a robbery or for kids kicking a ball off some grumpy neighbour’s wall – it was from a Manchester United fan just after they’d been knocked out of the Capital One Cup.
The disgruntled fan demanded to speak to former boss Sir Alex Ferguson before police kindly reminded him that 999 is for emergencies only and a football match wasn’t really an appropriate reason to call.
Greater Manchester Police released this statement on their Facebook page.
The only valuable reason we could think of calling 999 after last night’s match was to report the disappearance of United striker Danny Welbeck.
Update:
Here is the audio video of the actual call which took place between the United fan and the 999 operator. Enjoy!
