1. OFF THE RANGE
nialranger
Former Newcastle striker Nile Ranger let the world see this monstrosity, clearly forgetting of his own name at times.
2. MILLER TIME
kennymiller
When Scotland traveled to Wembley in the summer to face the Auld Enemy in a friendly, Scotland fan Ryan Pearson  tweeted: “If Kenny Miller scores tonight I’ll get ‘Kenny Miller Goal Machine’ Tattooed on my a**e.”
Miller duly obliged with a goal which left the unlucky fan red red-cheeked, in more ways than one.
3. WHERE IS THE LOVE
jaybothroyd
QPR striker Jay Bothroyd showed his er, “Loving side” with a bizzare tattoo as he got the word Love inked down his torso. As sweet as that seems however, love was spelled using weapons such as guns and grenades and the Instagram snap was quickly taken down by Bothroyd.
4. BOBBLE HEAD
clintdempsey
American striker Clint Dempsey is so revered around the world that even Canadians are getting in on the act as this fan unveiled. It’s a cartoon version of the Seattle striker on a pair of football boots.
5. NAME CHANGER
kolotouro
When Liverpool signed Man City defender Kolo Toure in the summer the reds fans rejoiced at their new acquisition however one fan took it to extremes and paid the price.
The tattoo artist misspelled the name leaving the fan with Kolo Touro on his foot.
The Ivory Coast stopper got wind of the story and even offered to change his name to Touro just to help.
6. ONE NIGHT IN MUNIC
BNZefuOCIAEFvCZ
May 19, 2012 is a date etched in the memory of every Chelsea fan as they finally got their hands on the European Cup. But for one fan it wasn’t permanent enough. Blues fan Michael Kellys got a picture of the momentous occasion in the city of, ehm … “Munic”. Maybe he went to the same place as the Liverpool fan.
7. MONKEY BUSINESS
artur-boruc
Former Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc has never been far from controversy and he endeared himself to the Celtic faithful after an old firm game when he lifted his shirt up to reveal his new tattoo. A monkey on his stomach with the name Rangers scrawled along its backside. The Polish star later had it removed.
8. CALF-TIME
daniele-de-rossi
Italian striker Daniel De Rossi clearly doesn’t like being slide-tackled from behind as he demonstrated with this in on the back of his legs. The triangle warning sign with two stick men going in for a tackle will surely make opposing player think twice … when it’s hidden under his sock.
9. NEY MORE:
Neymar1
This Brazilian-loving football fan took Neymar Jr to his heart and decided to have the superstar Barca forward inked on his back. Can anyone spot the mistake?
10. TOFFEE BRAINED
everton
This Everton fan decided to have his beloved team’s name across his back. Only problem is you don’t spell Everton with two e’s. “Uunlucky” mate.
