Arsene Wenger Tells Arjen Robben That Manuel Neuer Dived

It was a frustrating night for Arsene Wenger, with Arsenal spurning the chance to take a lead back to Germany for the second leg of their Champions League quarter final tie against Bayern Munich.

The game was lost for Arsenal in the penalty areas, after Mesut Ozil’s awful penalty was saved and ‘keeper Wojciech Szczesny was given his marching orders after he felled a dramatic Arjen Robben.

Wenger was animated throughout last night’s 2-0 defeat, though surprisingly never more than when Bayern stopper Manuel Neuer was adjudged to have been fouled in his own area by Yaya Sanogo.

The Frenchman clearly wasn’t happy with the foul awarded and told Arjen Robben exactly what he thought of his and his team-mate’s antics.
