Celtic-Daft Couple To Get Married On St. Patrick’s Day In Celtic Strips

Just when you thought club tattoos were crazy enough meet the engaged couple from Dundee who are set to get married … in Celtic strips.

Stevie Petrie and Jacqueline Greig are due to tie the knot on St. Patrick’s day with the bride wearing Celtic’s yellow away strip and the groom donning the Hoops.

And the pair are even hoping that club manager Neil Lennon may make a special guest appearance when they say their vows on March 17th at Dundee Registry Office.

Stevie, who’s son is named Larsson in honour of Celtic legend Henrik, told the Evening Telegraph: “Because it’s St Patrick’s Day we thought it would be a fitting tribute. I’ve never heard of anyone getting married in football strips so we thought, why not?”

“Everyone has been asked to turn up on the day in green or in something Celtic. People have said it’s a great idea and we think it will be a fantastic day”

We agree with showing full support for your club whenever you can … but this is surely too far?
