No football player enjoys being subbed. Just ask Juan Mata.
It damages your ego and makes you feel useless, leaving you to sit on the bench for the remainder of the match and watch as someone else performs the job you were deemed not good enough for.
However, Hugo Rodallega took it to a whole new level tonight as he looked to be inconsolable after being hooked in the FA Cup fourth round at Craven Cottage.

The Colombian was taken off in after an hour in the match where Sheffield United won 1-0 in extra time, and to say he was unhappy at the decision would be an understatement.
He hunched his shoulders and trotted off the pitch while Ashkan Dejagah replaced him leaving the former Wigan man absolutely heartbroken.
And when ITV’s cameras panned back on him 5 minutes later, the situation hadn’t improved as Rodallega struggled to even watch the game with a subs jacket draped over his shoulders.
Things aren’t going too well for Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen’s and it doesn’t seem that he’ll have the backing of Rodallega anytime soon as the striker dries his eyes and tries to move on.
