Jurgen Klopp Mocks Russian Interpreter By Making Him Translate Comments About Himself

We love Jurgen Klopp here at Talking Baws. Mainly because the man has an incredible sense of humour, bucking the stereotype that his countrymen are labelled with.

This time, the Dortmund coach showed his lighter side in a post-match press conference after his side had beaten Zenit St Petersburg 4-2 in Russia.

Klopp reacted to the Russian interpreter assigned to the conference after being asked to repeat himself and interrupted on several occasions, only for his words to be mis-translated anyway.

The 46-year-old got his own back on the Russian, by making him translate comments about himself, the most notable of which stating that he hadn’t watched a Champions League game in his life.

The two made amends after the incident and, once again, showed the lighter side of football that we all know and love.
