Mexican League Footballer Scores Incredible 50-Yard Volley In The Dying Minutes

Recently we brought you the incredible 70-yard goal from a slide-tackle in an Italian football match. But this one might be just as good if not better.

Cruz Azul full-back Rogelio Chavez bagged one of the most outrageous goals ever seen during their Liga MX match with Queretaro at the weekend with this simply stunning 50-yard volley.

Chavez had already converted from the penalty spot in the first half and his side led 2-1 going in to the 90th minute when he struck this wonder-goal.

The defender takes a throw-in which is headed back to him by an opponent before unleashing his incredible effort.

It’s unclear whether Chavez meant for his swerving effort to end up in the back of the net or whether it was just a good old-fashioned defensive clearance.

Either way, we love it!
