Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane never fails to provoke a reaction with his post match punditry.
And the Republic of Ireland assistant manager caused another stir after watching his old side edge ever closer to the Champions League exit door against Olympiakos last night.
The Old Trafford Legend had a pop at United ace Carrick over his post match interview on ITV after their shock 2-0 defeat.
Keane said the interview was “Just like their (United’s) performance … flat.”
He then added: “It just reflected United’s performance tonight; flat, no urgency. He keeps saying ‘Well, next game,’ for some of them there won’t be another game for them. That’s the reality of it.”
Little did Keane know, there would be one viewer in particular who was left feeling a little more than disgruntled after his comments … Michael Carrick’s wife, Lisa.

The United midfielder’s musses deleted the post shortly after and followed it up with this explanation:
Deleted my tweet .. Emotions got the better of me .. Just disappointed

David Moyes canvtake some positives from this Twitter rant… at least someone connected with the club is showing some fight.
