Thierry Henry Twitter Q&A Is Taken Over By Hilarious Ireland Fans Who Still Remember THAT Handball

When we get bored over here at Talking Baws, we occasionally take to Twitter to see which footballer is sacrificing his integrity by hosting a Q&A with their followers.

So when we found out that Arsenal and France legend Thierry Henry was offering himself to the ruthless world of Twitter this evening, we put our feet up, opened a bag of popcorn and proceeded to enjoy the show!

While these sessions clearly give fans the opportunity to ask their heroes the usual questions i.e. – “who was the best player you played with?” or “what was your favourite goal?”… Q&A’s also give Twitter trolls a fantastic platform to ridicule the stars of the game.

Just ask Celtic’s Scott Brown or Manchester United’s Michael Carrick if you can’t see where we are coming from.

And it would appear that fan’s of the Irish national team were paying attention to Henry’s Q&A, as they mercilessly trolled the New York Red Bull’s forward over his handball which cost Ireland a place at the 2010 World Cup:
