Evergreen’s hgih school basketball team could be left wondering today how they’re still in the running to make it out of the district playoffs.

Trailing 63-6 with the buzzer edging ever closer, The Plainsmen targeted the 6ft 7″ Robert Franks jr.

Franks – who is viewed as a hot prospect for Division 1 – attempts to grab the ball as he stumbled towards the opposing free throw line and decided to chance his luck by lobbing the ball over his shoulder.

The ball found the net, much to the delight of Franks and the Evergreen spectators.

They would go on to win the game 74-68 in overtime.
