5 Reasons Why Wrestlemania XXX Won’t Be The Worst Ever

5 Reasons Why Wrestlemania XXX Won’t Be The Worst Ever

Many wrestling fans feel that this year’s Wrestlemania may go down as one of the worst in the pay-per-view’s history.

The thought of John Cena defeating Bray Wyatt or Randy Orton facing-off against Batista sends shivers down one’s spine, but by no means will this be the worst ‘Mania ever.

And here are 5 crucial reasons why this year’s showcase of the immortals may be one of the best in recent memory:

1. The Involvement Of NXT

Capture2

With Hulk Hogan’s announcement of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and the success of the NXT pay-per-view, we could see some fresh, exciting faces at this year’s Wrestlemania.

Alexander Rusev has already made the step up and looks set to make his promising debut at Mania. Add the likes of Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Bo Dallas to the mix and it starts to make things very interesting.

Whether it’s in the Battle Royal, or an NXT championship match, the grandest stage of them all could be the perfect opportunity to introduce new talent.

2. The Cesaro Push

Cesaro was a surprise participant in the Elimination Chamber match but many believe this was the start of his ascent to the very top.

There has of course been some tension within The Real American’s, and it looks like a break-up is imminent. If the Real American’s do go head to head, don’t be surprised if Cesaro goes over Swagger.

Even if the match doesn’t go ahead, which we doubt due to the air-time both superstars are currently getting, I’d expect Cesaro to win the Battle Royal.

3. The Shield Predicament

The story-line revolving around The Shield is probably WWE’s most intriguing at the moment because no one quite knows what’s going to happen next.

Will the Hounds of Justice break-up before or during Mania, or maybe not at all?

It’s clear that all three members are set for big things after The Shield eventually do split, and it could all come to fruition over the next few weeks.

4. Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar

We all know it’s going to be the match of the night, right?

The Streak vs The Beast will see two brawlers go head to head, in what will surely be a brutal match.

Some believe Lesnar may be too powerful for an aging ‘Taker, but I believe their styles will suit each other perfectly and it should be another classic Streak match.

Paul Heyman’s involvement is always pleasing and the promo’s should be as good a watch as the match itself.

5. Daniel Bryan

Will this finally be Daniel Bryan’s moment?

The leader of the ‘YES-movement’ has been trying to cement a match with the COO of the company, Triple H, for weeks and finally got his wish last Monday on RAW.

However, not only did Bryan receive the match he wanted but if he is able to defeat Triple H, then he will be instated into the WWE World Heavyweight Title match.

It appears that WWE are doing everything they possibly can to salvage the train wreck of Randy Orton facing Batista in a contest which would likely be booed out of the arena.

And by potentially installing Bryan in the match, it looks like the company may have done it.

Some fans will argue that Bryan should have won the Royal Rumble in the first place and that Batista isn’t worthy of a main-event spot, but his inclusion will only make this a more entertaining clash.

Despite the backlash surrounding the Wrestlemania card, there are several reasons why it could rank up there with the best in the history of the WWE.
