The UK Open, known as the FA Cup of darts, produced some incredible shocks along the way, with unknown qualifier Aden Kirk beating an out of sorts Phil Taylor and Peter Wright.
Finalist Terry Jenkins managed to defeat the new world champion and world number 1, Michael Van Gerwen, in the semi-finals but came up short in the final to Lewis, which now means Jenkins has lost the 8 major finals he’s been in.
Adrian Lewis now has his sights set on the Premier League which continues on Thursday nights, along with the other 9 competitors in the tournament.
