Atletico Assistant Mono Burgos Goes Absolutely Bonkers At Referee In Madrid Derby

If there’s one thing we learned from the Madrid derby it’s that you don’t mess with Atletico assistant Mono Burgos.

The Argentine former Atletico player went absolutely crazy after being asked to go to the stands by referee Carlos Ferreiro.

Burgos reacted angrily to the ref booking Diego Costa for diving during the 2-2 draw at the Vicente Calderon.

But he took things to a new level when ordered off:

He goes so bonkers that he has to be restrained by SEVEN members of the Atletico backroom team – including boss Diego Simeone.

It’s not the first time Burgos has failed to keep his temper in check.

Last season, he threatened to rip former Real boss Jose Mourinho‘s head off. Brilliant.
