Franck Ribery Scores Beautiful Lobbed Goal As Bayern Seal 24th Bundesliga Title

Bayern Munich have been crowned champions of Germany tonight after beating Hertha Berlin 3-1, with a sensational chip from France midfielder Franck Ribery, stealing the show for the Bavarian side.

The victory sent Bayern 25-points clear at the summit of the Bundesliga, making it mathematically impossible for any of the chasing pack to catch Pep Guardiola‘s rampant side.

Reported Manchester United target Toni Kroos opened the scoring for Bayern from a Thomas Muller cross, before compatriot Mario Gotze doubled the lead seven minutes later.

But Ribery’s finish from a tight angle, following a dazzling run from Gotze, was easily the pick of the bunch:

The 3-1 win was Bayern’s 52nd league match without defeat and with Manchester United in store in the next stage of the Champions League, this won’t be a welcome sight for under-pressure United manager David Moyes.
