
After the UConn men’s basketball team reached the final four of the NCAA championships, hundreds of students rejoiced with a little outdoor party to commemorate the occasion.
The mob of college kids screamed aloud and ignited small fires out of newspaper on Sunday afternoon as they celebrated their team’s 60-54 win over Michigan State at Storrs Campus.

But there was one unified gesture from the college crowd which was more striking than them all.
It was the re-enacting of the Huskies’ bench celebration which the team have used throughout the tournament.

That would be the Police Officer’s cue to leave apparently.
Police have stated that the celebration was not a riot, despite what some have reported. And that nobody was seriously injured nor was there any damage done to the property.
Huskies’ head coach Kevin Ollie will now see his side take on Florida who are the top-ranked team in the country.
If this is how they act after reaching the final four, we can’t wait to see what happens if they go all the way!
