Luis Suarez has revealed that his three-year-old daughter Delfina has began speaking with a Scouse accent since living on Merseyside.
In an interview with LFCTV GO, the Uruguayan forward described how much his family were enjoying their lives in Liverpool.
Father-of-two Suarez told the Liverpool channel that his daughter had picked up the lingo and that even he is struggling to follow at times.
He said: “She speaks a lot in Scouse and English and I don’t understand sometimes.”
Understanding his daughter’s Scouse accent will be at the back of the Anfield hitman’s mind this weekend as they prepare to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend. Suarez has netted 24 times for the Reds this season and he’ll be hoping to continue this form on Sunday.
