Minor League Baseball Team Reveal They Will Wear Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Uniforms

Many sports teams face the same dilemma, how to appeal to younger fans while retaining the favour of the die-hard’s who keep the club going?

But this is a problem The Fresno Grizzlies, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, have managed to find a simple solution to, as the team have revealed they are set to wear Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed jerseys.

The Grizzlies confirmed the news via their official Twitter as they re-tweeted this message from Minor League Promos:

The move may come as a surprise, but essentially its a win-win situation for the Grizzlies, with the TMNT jerseys appealing to young kids and nostalgic adults who loved the original show in the 90s.

The club’s official account also announced that the jerseys will be part of a charity auction which will take part in August.

Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo must be thrilled.
