Neymar And Brazil Teammates Embrace Young South African Pitch Invader

Brazil dismantled South Africa 5-0 last night in a friendly match in Johannesburg, but despite the star names involved, it was a young Bafana Bafana fan who stole the limelight when he invaded the pitch at full-time.

The young boy, who despite seeing his team flounder against next years World Cup hosts, immediately ran toward Barcelona forward Neymar.

And what happened next was arguably one of the most heartwarming moments ever in an international football arena.

The little fan was surrounded by South African stewards, but Neymar and co. would intervene, hoist the young boy in the air and smile for photographs:

Brazil’s superstars seem to be enjoying the magical moment just as much, if not more than the young South African supporter, with Chelsea’s David Luiz, Real Madrid’s Marcelo and Fluminense striker Fred all getting involved.

While it may have been all smiles at full-time, Brazil gave a measured and solid performance against an unfancied South Africa.

Chelsea playmaker Oscar opened the scoring before Neymar grabbed a hat-trick and a thunderbolt from Manchester City’s Fernandinho finished off the rout.
