After Chelsea stormed to a 3-0 lead in the opening 17 minutes over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, the main talking point will be the red card.
Referee Andre Marriner dismissed Gunners defender Kieran Gibbs – despite the fact it was Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who committed the offence inside the penalty box.
Chamberlain admitted he was at fault to the whistler but it fell on deaf ears and his decision for Gibbs to walk stood.
It’s not the first time Marriner has been involved in a controversial decision at The Bridge. The ref wrongly awarded The Blues a last-gasp penalty back in November to save a point against West Brom.
