No matter what Swansea City youth kid Josh Sheehan does in life, he’ll always have a 45-yard wonder goal in the Welsh derby to remember.
The Swans Under-19 midfielder may not have a first-team appearance to his name but it won’t be long before he does if he keeps scoring goals like this:
It sent his side on to a 3-1 win over their Welsh rivals Cardiff City in the FAW Youth Cup semi-final.
And Sheehan believes it’s the best goal he’s ever scored.
He told the Swansea website: “It just came to me from the throw-in, and I could see the goalkeeper was off his line, so I hit it.
“I caught it sweetly, and it was probably the best goal I’ve ever scored.”
