Andy Murray‘s successful partnership with US tennis legend Ivan Lendl has come to an end today.
It’s been reported that the decision was made amicably following two massive years which saw Murray claim his first Grand Slam at the US Open, an Olympic gold medal and the Wimbledon crown.
Former World No.1 Lendl has spoken of his split from the Scot.
He said: “”Having helped (Murray) achieve his goal of winning major titles, I feel like it is time for me to concentrate on some of my own projects.
“I will always be in Andy’s corner and wish him nothing but great success as he too goes into a new phase of his career.”
But what does this mean for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year winner?
Will he live to regret the split from the coach who has helped him to the highest heights of his career in the past 24 months?
Here’s just a few things Murray may end up missing out on…

1. No more US Open triumphs
2. Goodbye to the gold
3. He may never repeat the Wimbledon win
4. If you ain’t winning, you ain’t got the girl either
5. There could be a lot more of this
but don’t worry Andy, you’ll always have Judy!
