Usain Bolt Reveals He Could Play For Jamaica In Qualifying Campaign For 2018 World Cup

Usain Bolt is a living legend on the running track.

And is widely regarded as the fastest man of all time as the current holder of both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records.

But what’s next for the lightning bolt?

Well according to the Jamaican sprinter, he may be set to sensationally try his luck on the football pitch with his international team.

Bolt has famously toyed with the idea of playing for his boyhood idols Manchester United in the past, with rumours suggesting the gold medalist could appear in a charity game for David Moyes‘ side.

But it now seems that Bolt has put serious consideration into ditching his running spikes for football boots after his recent Instagram post:

The image was captioned: “Jamaica how we look? Hmmm..A we say to the world and anything possible.. #SeriousFace #ReggaeBoyz #ForeverFaster #FutureOption #MadTalent #AnythingPossible.”

According to Jamaican paper, The Sunday Gleaner, coach Winfried Schafer recently admitted he would be interested in calling Bolt up for the national side.

He said: “He’s a Jamaican and I want him to be on the national team.

“This is our goal. Maybe after the Olympics in Brazil (2016), I want to see him in our team. That is what I want to tell him. I hope he wants to play for his country.”
