As punters and horse-lovers look forward to the Grand National this Saturday, Aintree Racecourse have taken the time to remember one of the most horrible disasters in sporting history.
April is a difficult month for football fans as they are reminded of the terrible events which took place at Hillsborough stadium on April 15th 1989.
And as the disaster leads up to its 25th anniversary the home of horse racing’s biggest event has paid tribute to those Liverpool fans who lost their life.
