A Miami Marlins fan who lost his wallet has had it returned to him by a complete stranger in an act of good will.
Miami Senior High School student Christhian Reyes had given up hope of ever finding the misplaced item before it was handed in to the school office, thanks to the ID inside.

Reyes had gone to Opening Day to watch his hometown Marlins take on the Colorado Rockies, after which he experienced that heart-sinking moment of reaching into his pocket and finding nothing.
Luckily enough for Reyes, a fellow fan found the wallet and soon went about returning it to the rightful owner.
The man, who remains nameless, handed the wallet into the office staff at Reyes’ school before disappearing again. But it wasn’t without asking for a favour in return.
The mystery gentleman added a generous $20 to the contents of the wallet and attached a note which read: “I added $20 to it so you know the world is a great place. Do me a favour and when you get the chance, do something nice for someone else.”

So there you have it, confirmation that there are still a lot of decent people out there always looking to pay it forward.
