Roy Keane Launches Scathing Attack On Manchester United Players Pre Chelsea Vs Atletico Madrid

Roy Keane never was the kind of player to mince his words.

In fact, so strong was Keane’s tongue that Sir Alex Ferguson has even claimed it’s the toughest part of the Irishman’s body.

And Keano showed once again tonight that old age hasn’t dampened his temper, as he unleashed a scathing assessment of why David Moyes was sacked as Manchester United manager.

Speaking as part of the Champions League panel on ITV, prior to the Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid match, Keane was asked to sum up in a few words why the Scot’s reign ended this morning.

Keane replied: “Some of the players should be ashamed of themselves… they’ve really let him down.

“You need to help him in every way that you can and I don’t think he has had that support particularly from the players.

“I think he deserved more time definitely.”

Ouch.
