Donald Young was considered one of tennis’ brightest young prospects when he broke on the scene in 2011.
But the American is not making news now for his performances as he languishes 81st in the world rankings.
No, he makes headlines these days for yelling ridiculous things in frustration in matches.
And his latest outburst, during his Sarasota Open first round match today, is a classic:
Son of a biscuit? We thought it was maybe a slip of the tongue but he actually repeats it again a few times.
As frustrated expletives go, that’s one of the best we’ve ever heard.
Despite the obvious annoyance, Young went on to beat Alexander Zverev 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the second round.
