Barcelona Honour Tito Vilanova By Emblazoning ‘Tito, Per Sempre Etern’ On Shirts For Getafe Clash

Barcelona players will wear shirts with words dedicated to the late Tito Vilanova during their La Liga clash with Getafe today.

The club’s official Instagram posted a picture of midfielder Andres Iniesta‘s kit and boots ready to go for the game.

And you can see the words “Tito, Per Sempre Etern” (Tito, Forever Eternal) emblazoned between the sponsor and the badge in dedication to Vilanova who died after a fight with throat cancer two weeks ago:

Vilanova spent six years on the Barca coaching staff before taking over from Pep Guardiola as manager in 2012.

Sadly, he only managed one season at the helm before his health forced him to resign from the job.
