Liverpool all but ended their title challenge last night in a crazy 10 minutes where they let a 3-0 lead slip as a deflected Damien Delaney effort followed by a Dwight Gayle double seen the game in London end 3-3,

It was heartbreaking for Liverpool fans all across the world as they lost their grip on a crucial three points and when the final whistle went it was all too much for some as tears flooded the away end at Selhurst Park.

Tears also streamed the pitch as Liverpool striker Luis Suarez couldn’t contain his emotion and had to be consoled by captain Steven Gerrard who carried the Uruguayan off the pitch.

The result sees the Reds go one point clear at the top of the table although Manchester City have a game in hand where they will face Aston Villa at home on Wednesday before going on to win the league if they beat West Ham on Sunday.
