Manchester United Fans Tweet Emotional Farewells To Nemanja Vidic Ahead Of Last Old Trafford Appearance

Nemanja Vidic will play his last match at Old Trafford in a Manchester United shirt tonight when Hull take on Ryan Giggs’ side.

And you’d expect him to be sent off with a win on such a special night.

The Serbian defender is approaching the end of a trophy-laden eight year spell after signing a pre-contract agreement with Inter Milan for next season.

Vidic yesterday lauded his time in Manchester and described former boss Sir Alex Ferguson as the “greatest manager ever” before his retirement last summer.

And although the centre-half – who formed an illustrious defensive partnership with Rio Ferdinand – has played a part in United’s ill-fated season under former boss Davie Moyes, he will still be fondly remembered by everyone at Old Trafford.
