Daniel Bryan put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line last night as he took on Kane at Extreme Rules.
In a rivalry which has been heating up for weeks, there was a lot of pressure on Bryan to produce in his first title defence since he won the belt at Wrestlemania.
The stage was set, the battle lines drawn and the bearded warrior didn’t disappoint.

The night’s main event had some truly breathtaking spots as the much-anticipated match broke out into utter chaos.
In keeping with the time-honoured commandments of Extreme Rules, there were plenty of chair-shots…obviously:
When the match, as expected, made its way over to the announce tables Bryan jumped from the table and executed a tornado DDT:
Kane, left reeling from the DDT, hit back with a powerful chokeslam through the announcer’s table:
In a nod to the Attitude Era and the “I Quit” between The Rock and Mankind at, Bryan used a forklift truck to return Kane to the ring:
Bryan then used the forklift to inflict more pain on his opponent, performing an audacious diving headbutt:
The Devil’s Favourite Demon then slammed the Champ through a chair:
As the match made its way around the arena, Bryan narrowly avoided what looked like a fire extinguisher:
The match then reached its fiery conclusion when Kane set a table on fire, only for Bryan to counter the Big Red Machine…
Bryan went on to win the match via pinfall and with this brilliant showing both superstars did a fantastic job in entertaining the crowd.
