At Talking Baws we absolutely love a new World Cup advert, however, this latest one from Puma has left us all a bit surprised.
It features former Premier League bad-boy Mario Balotelli, who takes to the stage in Brazil wearing different coloured boots – one pink and one blue.
The Italian striker is seen preparing for kick-off in South America donning Puma’s latest addition to the evoPOWER and evoSPEED range which will also be worn by their leading players including Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas.

Speaking to FourFourTwo Balotelli said: “”I have to be honest, the first time I saw the boots, I thought the guy from PUMA was mad.
“But when I realised he wasn’t, I was already excited. The evoPOWER looks cool in these special colours: it is definitely unique. And in the end, it is exactly the reason why I chose to be with PUMA. They dare to be different and everyone knows that I do as well.”
I wonder how much he was paid to say that …
