Every club under the sun has been linked with Cesc Fabregas this summer.
Ever since Barcelona confirmed the Spain international was surplus to requirements, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG have all reportedly been interested in signing the midfielder.
But with Fabregas’ list of potential suitors becoming a lengthy one, it was refreshing to hear that one of the London clubs have now honourably pulled out of the race, giving every one else a glimmer of hope in getting their man.
Although we can’t imagine Fabregas has ever even heard of Dagenham and Redbridge…
Yes in a fantastically humourous jibe at the big clubs who have refused to rule out signing the Barcelona man, the Daggers confirmed via their official Twitter that they were out of the race:
Breaking: With current interest from London clubs, the Daggers have ruled themselves out of the running to sign Barcelona's, #CescFabregas

That’s that then, no matter where Fabregas hangs his hat this summer, he will surely always wonder what could have been had the League Two club formalised their interest.
