Comedian Simon Brodkin, also known as comedy TV host Lee Nelson, was huckled by airport security after he attempted to board the England team plane.
Nelson posed as one of his sketch characters, idiotic professional footballer Jason Bent, in the exact same suit as the England squad in a bid to get past security.
The comic rubbed shoulders with the likes of Steven Gerard, Gary Cahill and Jack Wilshere with passport in hand waiting to board their flight to Miami.
But he couldn’t outwit airport staff and was quickly spotted and escorted away from the players.
His spoof character Bent Tweeted:
Gutted Roy wouldn't let me on the plane to Brazil. I don't know what to tell the Malaysian betting syndicate now… pic.twitter.com/uw620rFDUK

A good effort though.
