Royal Dutch Airlines Tweet Brutal Message To Mexicans After Holland Advance To Quarter-Finals

Mexico were yesterday knocked out of the World Cup at the Last 16 stage for the 6th time in a row after late goals from Wesley Sneijder and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar sent Holland through to the Quarter Final – and nobody in the Netherlands had any sympathy for them.

Dutch Airline KLM were quick to wish the Mexicans farewell from the tournament as they posted the following message on their Twitter.

The Tweet has since been deleted, however, not in enough time to avoid angry Mexicans having their say Рone of them being from actor Gael Garcia Bernal who said:

Bernal has also deleted his Tweet and apologised for letting his emotions take control:

Don’t you just love the World Cup?
