VIDEO: Costa Rica And Italy Players Clash In The Tunnel At Half-Time

Tempers flared at half-time during Italy‘s World Cup Group D clash against Costa Rica.

It’s thought the Costa Ricans were furious at how slow the Italians were playing and told them so as they made their way to the changing rooms at half-time.

All the substitutes get involved but it didn’t appear to involve any of the starting players:

There are rumours that Marco Verratti may have been hit by one of the Costa Rican players.

Italy currently trail 1-0 after Bryan Ruiz’s first-half headed opener.
