And now, midfielder Yaya is sensationally claiming that Manchester City prevented him from visiting his brother while he was on his death-bed.
The player was previously unhappy with the club after City reportedly failed to commemorate the Ivory Coast star’s birthday, but Yaya’s most recent accusation has poured gasoline on an already lively flame.

Toure is of course on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the World Cup, but he took time out to speak to France Football, as reported via Yahoo! Eurosport.
He said: “At the end of the season, I wanted to stay for four or five days with my brother before I flew to prepare for the World Cup with Ivory Coast, except that City did not want to give me a few days.”
Toure added: “I went to celebrate the title championship in Abu Dhabi while my brother was in his sickbed. By fortune, Kolo was at his bedside. After that I blame myself for not insisting and for not leading them to respect me.”
Toure’s comments will make hard reading for most fans, as the 31-year old was undoubtedly Manuel Pellegrini’s best player as City won the Premier League last term.
Both Yaya and Kolo decided to stay in Brazil following the news of Ibrahim’s death in a bid to help Ivory Coast reach the knockout stages of the competition.
Manchester City have yet to respond to Toure’s claims, but it would seem increasingly likely that there is no way back for the ex-Barcelona man and that he may be on the move this summer.
