Frustrated Radamel Falcao suffered through Colombia’s defeat to Brazil as best he could, most probably through gritted teeth.
The injured striker was clearly incensed, as were all Colombians – not to mention most neutrals – with the refereeing in last night’s game, which saw Brazil foul time and time again with impunity.
James Rodriguez was effectively kicked out of the game, and Falcao let his feelings be known via Twitter afterwards.
After initially tweeting a general congratulation to his fallen comrades, Falcao then retweeted a message from Jose Luis Pasques, Diego Simeone’s press spokesman, which said, ‘When I was young, games like that, when there was no ref, usually finished in a fight.
Falcao then added himself, ‘For the next game remember to call the ref because today he didn’t come’.
Para el próximo partido acuérdense de llamar al árbitro que hoy no vino.
