Tiger Woods: It’s No Surprise To See Rory McIlroy Leading The Open

Rory McIlroy banished all thoughts of another Freaky Friday after carding an outstanding 66 on Day Two of the Open at Hoylake.

The Northern Irishman led the field by five shots overnight – and the strong position comes as no surprise to Tiger Woods.

He struggled to a 77 on Friday himself and admitted he was disappointed with his performance.

But the aggressive McIlroy has not shocked him by charging to the top of the leaderboard:
