Tottenham Hotspur kick off their tour of America and Canada by spending three days in Seattle.

And away from the tough stuff of preparing for the new English Premier League season, some of Mauricio Pochettino‘s team relaxed by meeting and playing with the Seattle Seahawks.

Wide receiver Doug Baldwin, kicker Steven Hauschka and linebacker KJ Wright teamed up with NFL fans Brad Friedel, Etienne Capoue, Harry Kane and Gylfi Sigurdsson at the Seahawks’ VMAC Training Facility.

As well as taking some penalties with the Super Bowl champs, the Spurs players had a go at kicking field goals and tossing an American football around.

KJ Wright spoke to the official Spurs website and said:

“It’s been a really good morning, I love seeing players from different sports and what they can do as well as learning all about their sport.

“The guys certainly have some NFL skills. They can catch it, kick it and they certainly know how to celebrate!

“I’ve learned how to kick the soccer ball and how to curve it as well. It’s been a lot of fun.”

Kane was also complimentary of the Seahawks’ stars – claiming it was a dream come true to meet them.

He said:

“I was like a kid in the playground. It’s great to be involved with players at the very top of their sport.

“They were great guys and very interested in our sport as well.

“It’s a dream for me to come here, especially as Seahawks are the NFL champions. I’d like to say a big thanks to them for having us.”
