VIDEO: This Fake Interview Prank Shows Americans Aren’t As Big On Football As They Like To Think

After an outstanding World Cup performance, football (or soccer) is all the USA are talking about at the moment.

Jürgen Klinsmann’s squad made it to the last 16 of the World Cup where they were unlucky to lose to Belgium in extra time after the game finished 0-0 in 90 minutes.

And the President of the United States even called up the team himself to congratulate them on how well they did.

However, not all American’s are quite clued up to football as much as they want you think they are.

This prank interview, where random American’s are asked bogus questions and completely agree with the answer just shows how much they really know about their soccer in the states.

One fan even says how excited he is to have the USA hosting the World Cup while another puts on a Mexico jersey, which he believes to be the new USA strip, and chants “Go USA” several times.

Who knows, maybe they’ll think their team has a chance in Euro 2016 …
