The former Dallas Cowboys linebacker and assistant coach – who now co-hosts an afternoon show on ESPN radio – made the comparison after spending three days at the Texans training camp.
He reminds me so much of when I was with the Cowboys, there was a young player, a rookie coming in named DeMarcus Ware.
“This guy’s bigger, stronger, seems like faster, than DeMarcus Ware was when he came into the league. Pretty scary.”
Ware is a four-time Pro Bowl player and has twice led the NFL for sacks.
So the comparison is worrying for the rest of the NFL – especially as the former South Carolina Gamecock lines up with J.J Watt in the Houston secondary.
