PSG Hilariously Claim David Luiz Is The Best Defender In The World… Twitter Strongly Disagrees

David Luiz isn’t great.

In fact, he’s pretty damn awful.

We know it, you know it, and everyone on Twitter knows it too.

So it was really a matter of time before everyone on social media banded together to remind him.

And today seems to be the day, after the Brazilian defender was unveiled by PSG following his £50 million move from Chelsea.

By Stuart Hynd – @supers0nic_

Following three troublesome years at Stamford Bridge and a World Cup that saw Brazil suffer a humiliating 7-1 defeat to Germany, Luiz’s move to Paris has certainly raised a few eyebrows.

And PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi didn’t exactly help matters when he hailed Luiz as ‘the best defender in the world,’ during his presentation.

Al-Khelaifi then went on to clarify that the club had been interested in signing Real Madrid superstar Angel Di Maria, but that the Argentine was too expenisve…most likely due to the vast amount spent on Luiz.

So with all that said, Twitter took its chance to have a pop at the floundering Sideshow Bob lookalike:
