Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola was left fuming last night following a challenge by Osvaldo Alonso on Xherdan Shaqiri.
The former Barcelona head coach was so incensed by the badly-timed challenge on his midfielder that he refused to shake the opposing manager’s hand after the match.
MLS All-Stars gaffer Caleb Porter attempted to approach the Spaniard after the match to shake hands but Guardiola simply dismissed his efforts with a waving hand.
Guardiola, normally appearing calm and collected, was slated for his antics by the US pundits after the match.
And despite the efforts of his former Barca striker Thierry Henry to defuse the situation, Guardiola still refused to shake hands.
The fact that the Bundesliga champions were also on the end of a 2-1 defeat didn’t help matters either.
