VIDEO: Clint Dempsey Raps At FIFA 15 Event… The New Face Of Hip-Hop? Hopefully Not

Clint Dempsey is a pretty big deal in the USA.

The former Fulham and Tottenham midfielder enjoyed an exceptional showing at the World Cup in Brazil and has performed well since returning to the MLS with the Seattle Sounders.

In fact, the American is so highly rated in his own country that he features on the front cover of EA Sports’ FIFA 15…yes that’s right, stand aside Lionel Messi.

And with Dempsey fully immersed in FIFA 15-fever, the 31-year-old attended a launch party this week, where he took to the mic and changed the rap game forever.

Well, sort of.

This isn’t the first time that Dempsey has made a foray into the world of hip-hop.

Back in 2006, using the stage-name “Deuce,” Dempsey released his own single called “Don’t Tread”.

The music video featured Houston-based rapper XO, who also appeared alongside Dempsey at the FIFA 15 event.

You can see how this is all fitting together can’t you?

Anyway, here is Dempsey dropping a slick rhyme…

Or something like that…
