With a new season of their hit TV show South Park ready to air this week, Comedy Central bought a commercial spot during the fourth quarter of the Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles. What was so important about this spot? They aired the South Park version of a Hail Mary to take a knock at Redskins owner Dan Snyder.

Backed with RG III and a member of the Redskins staff, Snyder takes aim at Cartman to change the name of whatever company Cartman has started in his latest round of shenanigans to get a million dollars to something that is not “Washington Redskins”, since the trademark was recently revoked. Dan Snyder complains that Cartman’s use of the name is offensive to Snyder’s.
Bro Bible sums it up well:
Pot, meet kettle. Way to go, Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
All-new episodes of South Park will premiere this Wednesday, Sept. 24th on Comedy Central in the USA and on MuchMusic in Canada.
