VIDEO: Ouch! Libertad Attacker’s Violent Elbow Leaves River Opponent In A Bloody Mess

Libertad’s Antonio Barreiro was sent off in his side’s 2-0 defeat to River Plate last night after violently elbowing opponent Ariel Rojas.

The Paraguayan winger was involved in an off-the-ball incident with the River player at a free-kick and, after swinging out with his elbow, left Rojas in a blooded mess.

The footage was caught on camera and is sure to attract a big ban for Barreiro:

River won the game thanks to goals from Gabriel Mercado and Giovanni Simeone but Rojas had to be substituted after the incident.
